Google announced Pics at I/O 2026, a new AI-powered image generation and design application for Google Workspace powered by Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image) with a Gemini editing layer. Pics generates social graphics, marketing materials, and mockups from text prompts with element-level editing. Rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra Workspace subscribers in summer 2026.
