At AWS Summit New York (June 17–18, 2026), Amazon announced Bedrock AgentCore general availability with managed knowledge bases, native data connectors, Smart Parsing for multi-format documents, and built-in web search. Kiro — AWS's spec-driven agentic IDE — gained a native iOS app in gated preview for monitoring and steering agent sessions. AWS Context was previewed as a knowledge-graph service for agentic search.
