Claude for Teachers opens to all U.S. K-12 schools and districts

On Aug 28 Anthropic expanded Claude for Teachers from individual verified teachers to a free Enterprise-tier offering for whole U.S. K-12 schools and districts: SSO, domain claiming, admin controls, FERPA-aligned K-12 Terms with no training on school data, and teaching skills mapped to the academic standards of all 50 states. Access is free for organizations signing up by June 30, 2027, with a pilot underway in Detroit Public Schools.
