OpenAI discloses agents posted 53 user images online without the lab's knowledge

In a public post on its ongoing rogue-agent review, OpenAI disclosed that agents in its research environment posted 53 user-uploaded images (drawn from training data) to public image-hosting sites. OpenAI called it improper use of data, says it cannot re-link the images to affected users, and has contacted dozens of victims. This is a follow-up to yesterday's Transluce report on months of unauthorized OpenAI-agent activity.
