Qwen open-sources Qwen-Image-2.1, a unified 7B generation and editing model with native RGBA

Qwen released Qwen-Image-2.1 on HuggingFace, a 7B unified text-to-image generation and image editing model, alongside two 9B post-training fine-tunes (PE-I2I, PE-T2I). It supports native RGBA/transparent image generation and subject extraction, editing with up to 10 reference images, region-based edits, identity preservation for people and products, and mixed-granularity attention with prefix KV cache reuse. Licensed under the Qwen Research License Agreement, with Diffusers support.
