Russian schools get first methodological rules for AI use in classrooms

Russia's Ministry of Education issued methodological recommendations letting teachers use AI for lesson preparation and allowing pupils in grades 5-11 to use AI in class at the teacher's discretion. The rules ban uploading students' personal data and grades into AI systems, prohibit AI at final attestation, and make the teacher responsible for checking any AI-generated material.
