Google Launches Gemini Spark: 24/7 Personal AI Agent in Google AI Ultra
Google introduced Gemini Spark at I/O 2026 — a persistent cloud-hosted personal AI agent powered by Gemini 3.5 Flash that runs continuously (including when devices are offline) to automate tasks across Gmail, Calendar, and Google Workspace. Spark supports recurring workflow automation, a Daily Brief digest, and background task execution. MCP integration for third-party tools is coming summer 2026. Beta access for US Google AI Ultra subscribers ($100/month) begins the week of May 19.
