OpenClaw v2026.10.7, released October 24, makes interrupted sessions replay-safe by retaining recovery provenance and unfinished tool outcomes, keeps verified update activations valid through later maintenance errors, resumes interrupted package updates, and adds Gemini 4 Argon support alongside fixes for stale log directories wedging the Gateway and macOS onboarding on fresh profiles. The same day it published v2026.9.34, a gateway-only extended-stable release built from end-September 2026 plus critical security updates, including an apply_patch change that validates a whole ordered envelope before mutating the workspace so a later invalid hunk cannot delete files changed by an earlier one.

Why it matters

Two release lines now: a fast-moving 2026.10.x and a security-maintained LTS for fleets.

Importance: 3/5

Introduces an LTS support line plus substantive data-loss fixes.
